Rock Recovery is a nonprofit that supports the journey to freedom from disordered eating. It works to bridge gaps in resources for eating disorder treatment and education by removing the barriers of stigma, cost, and accessibility and by providing quality clinical care. Rock offers a wide range of affordable recovery resources, sliding scale therapy groups, and community support services and educational workshops to those who are stepping down from a higher level of eating disorder care or who may need more support than individual therapy alone. Rock’s outpatient group therapy services (offered in-person and virtually) are available to individuals of all genders, 18+ who reside in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

“Dopamine Dressing” involves dressing with the intention of boosting your mood. Color, style, and texture can all have psychological associations and are often tied to memories. Getting out of your comfort zone when it comes to clothes can also trigger dopamine release! Join Wild Gardenia owner, Natalie Zink, as she gives some tips and trick on how to apply the rules of Dopamine Dressing to your current and future wardrobe. This will be a fun, laid back event with refreshments and exclusive clothing discounts, for those interested.

Are you interested in learning more about organic artisanal soaps and how to make them? Join us for our workshop with White Lily Shoppe and make your own soap! Participants will be taught how to make cold process soap from scratch using organic oils, essential oils and natural colorants.
